Since 1958, Olde Mill Golf has provided residents of Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo, and surrounding areas with a challenging golf course, beautiful scenery, and – most of all – a fun, inviting place to visit. With the area’s best banquet hall, live music nights, and a massive wedding venue, Olde Mill Golf has earned a reputation for providing locals – and visitors – with a relaxing place to get away, surround themselves with nature, and enjoy the company of family and friends.

Originally opened as a 9-hole course by Gil Stiver, Reggie Sauger completed construction of the 18-hole course at the Olde Mill Golf facility in Schoolcraft, Michigan featuring 6,195 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 69.2 and it has a slope rating of 117. The traditional layout is the perfect example of classic Midwestern golf.

The layout winds along Flowerfield Creek, which comes into play throughout. The back nine has six water holes and there are two more on the front, but water isn’t the only challenge you’ll run into. The challenging golf course can feel much longer than the 6,195-yard length that’s listed on the scorecard. The back nine is more open, but also subject to the wind, and the front nine gets much tighter with most of the holes framed by dense woodlands. There are numerous sand traps strategically placed throughout. In addition to the golf course, Olde Mill Golf also has a driving range and practice green available that are great for warming up.
